A project wherein the goal was to produce a magazine mockup from scratch, from producing the images, to having it print ready. The first step was deciding that the overall theme of the mockup was minimalism, and so both photography and typography followed suite. In coordination and collaboration with a professional photography student, we produced the image of a white wooden chair and a vase with flowers to be used for the cover. Next was to choose a colour palette that complimented the imagery and typefaces that were sophisticated and simple. Some minor technical things like creating a print-ready product via properly sharpened images to CMYK colours on the file, the right bleed sizes, crop marks, etc, were the last steps of the process.
