Garibaldi Self-Portrait

The morning after hiking and camping at Garibaldi Provincial Park. I woke up before the sunrise to find a good vantage point to capture the lake. I found a spot that had a complete composition: a foreground, a subject, and a background.

The goal of this image was to highlight the lake and the glaciers while remaining a portrait too. The story I want to portray through this image is of solitude and its importance when trying to experience something great. Post-process was mostly colour correction and enhancement, as well as some cleaning and smoothening (there was some dust and distracting elements in the water) all done in Lightroom and then Photoshop.
